Lightweight transitional jackets for spring and autumn
Winter will not last forever, and when spring or later autumn days arrive, everyone needs to have a jacket ready in their wardrobe — something you can simply throw over your shoulders in the evening when it gets colder or when it starts to rain.
A transitional jacket is exactly the type of clothing you do not take out only for one specific occasion. It is suitable for going to work, training, a match, an away trip, everyday wear in the city and weekend travel. It is not too thick, does not get in the way, is easy to wear and, when needed, you always have it at hand.
At UM Wear, we offer a model that we started using already in autumn last year. These jackets have become popular not only in Slovakia, but also abroad, where customers repeatedly return to them. We have produced them, for example, for customers from the Netherlands, Italy and Spain.
Quality material, comfort and durability
With transitional jackets, it is important that they are not unnecessarily heavy, do not look cheap and are also comfortable to wear. Many manufacturers use materials that may look good at first glance, but feel unpleasant to the touch and make you feel as if you were wrapped in plastic.
This model is made from a very good combination of nylon and polyester. The material is light, smooth to the touch, comfortable to wear and the jacket fits well on the body. Thanks to its cut, it does not look like a shapeless sheet, but like a practical piece of clothing for everyday wear.
According to the manufacturer, the outer layer is resistant to rain. However, this should be understood reasonably. The jacket can handle wind, cooler weather and light rain, but it is not a waterproof mountain jacket for extreme conditions. If someone is looking for a jacket that can withstand an entire day of rain in the mountains, that would already be a completely different category of material and price.

Stylish and functional design
The jackets have ribbed cuffs at the waist and on the sleeves. This is not just an aesthetic detail, but also a practical solution for windy weather. Thanks to this, the jacket holds its shape better, lets in less wind underneath and overall feels more compact.
The hood is equipped with drawstrings, which allows it to be adjusted as needed. During everyday wear, you will also appreciate that the jacket does not look too sporty or too formal. It can be worn with jeans, sweatpants, a hoodie or club clothing.
The manufacturer offers this model in several colour variants. The colour of the jacket body, zippers and inner mesh may differ. Thanks to this, you can choose a combination that matches club colours, a group or a specific visual style.

Who are these jackets suitable for?
This type of jacket is suitable especially for sports clubs, fan groups, crews, companies or smaller teams that want a unified and practical piece of clothing. Not everyone needs a thick winter jacket or an expensive technical windbreaker. Sometimes a lightweight jacket is enough — one that looks good, can be worn for a large part of the year and can also be personalised.
For fan groups, the main advantage is that the jacket does not look overly promotional. With subtle embroidery or print, it can become a very wearable piece of clothing that can also be used outside the match. With a more distinctive design, it can also work as a shared visual element for the whole group.
Personalisation options
A logo, group name, emblem, simple text or another graphic element can be placed on the jackets. Most often, embroidery is placed on the chest, sleeve or back. In some cases, printing is also suitable, but it always depends on the specific design, motif size and material.
With embroidery, it should be taken into account that the final price is mainly affected by the size of the embroidery, number of colours, stitch density and overall complexity of the graphic. A simple inscription or smaller emblem will be more affordable than a large detailed motif on the back.

FAMA certificate
The production of these jackets is confirmed by the FAMA certificate, which focuses on compliance with labour and production standards, quality control, product safety and efforts to reduce the ecological footprint of production.
Order and delivery time
If you are interested in this model and would like to order personalised jackets for yourself, your club or your crew, you should count on a delivery time of approximately 2 to 3 weeks. However, it always depends on the number of pieces, stock availability of the specific colour, current production workload and the complexity of the personalisation itself.
In custom production, there is no single universal price that applies to everyone. A smaller embroidery on the chest is calculated differently from a large motif on the back, and differently again from a simple inscription. That is why it is best to send a specific request, based on which we can prepare a more accurate price offer.
- number of pieces,
- required colour or colour combination of the jacket,
- placement of the graphic,
- dimensions of the embroidery or print,
- logo, inscription or design you want to use.
The minimum order quantity is 10 pieces. As a rough guide, the price may range approximately from €30 to €50 per piece, but the exact price can only be determined after receiving the specific parameters.
Transitional jackets are a practical choice for anyone who wants custom clothing that can be used during a large part of the year. They are lightweight, compact, comfortable to wear and, with the right design, can look both representative and fan-oriented at the same time.
